 Molybdenum tube is a tubular material made of pure molybdenum or molybdenum alloy, which has the characteristics of high melting point, high strength, good thermal and electrical conductivity and low coefficient of thermal expansion. Molybdenum tube is widely used in thermocouple protection tube, filament, tube gate, electrode, high temperature gasket, high temperature furnace components, high temperature heating elements .
Manufacturing process
The manufacturing process of molybdenum tube mainly includes powder metallurgy method and melting method. Powder metallurgy process includes raw material preparation, molding, densification and processing steps. Molybdenum ingot is melted by electric arc furnace or vacuum furnace, and then cast into tubular material by mold, and then machined .
